LARICS (The Laboratory for Analysis of Information Warfare and Strategic Communication) operates within ISPRI (The Institute for Political Science and International Relations) at the Romanian Academy, as a component structure of the Institute, but with a separate and specific agenda. Its main purpose is to analyse internal and external events, the international media, with special reference to Romania and the Republic of Moldova in the context of confrontations in the media space that have reached, in some assessments, the dimension of "information wars".
The site larics.ro provides an analysis of the concepts, methods and techniques of manipulation/public communication, of the main components of information wars and is a unique resource for policy makers, specialised press, researchers interested in the phenomenon, students, etc.
